I'm Not Religious...

I'm not religious, but I tolerate people who are. Let those crazy people know, you don't hold their craziness against them! Who knows? They may still turn out to be decent, upstanding folks, after all. But probably not.

Problems With Black Shirts
According to CafePress, they're having some problems with their production process for black shirts. In particular, the images aren't as bright as they should be. From their announcment:
We currently have about 20 designs on black shirts, but we're not going to introduce many more until they get these kinks worked out. For now, check the CafePress picture closely on the checkout page. Unfortunately, your final product will look more like that than it will like the bright pictures on our website.
As previously stated, colors printed on black garments are muted. In a [sic] effort to better represent what the the final printed image looks like on a Black T-Shirt, we are "darkening" the online Product Thumbnails (image display) for all Black T-Shirts. Not all colors will be represented with 100% accuracy using this method, but this is as close as we can get for now.

Perhaps Dr. "Bones" McCoy's most famous quote - that tricorder presided over the deaths of untold nameless crew members and minor aliens.

Blog Revisionism
I just finished going through all the old design posts, back to July, and changed them to point to that design's "category", rather than its "section". That's because "sections" are gone, and nobody misses them, I might add.
I apologize if this makes all those old posts show up as new again in your favorite blog/feed reader. I don't plan to slavishly keep every old post current with every minor shirt change, but the section page is going away and I don't want innocent blogstanders to get 404 errors from those old posts.

Well That Was Fast: Insani-T-Shirts.com Version 3
Scant days ago, less than two weeks in fact, we unveiled a new site design, which we dubbed "Insani-T-Shirts.com Version 2".
It was pretty cool, with its colored brain map on the front page, which changed when you hovered your mouse over it to reveal different sections of the site. And I got it working pretty well on all the major browsers, at least. Unfortunately, it was a usability disaster. It seems some people just didn't get it at all, and even for us, we never even remembered ourselves which colored slice of the brain had which section behind it.
So now we've flattened that all out a lot more. All of our categories are shown right on the home page, and when you roll your mouse over them, you'll see a preview of the first few designs from that category. And when you click through to see all the designs in a category, they're all available on one page, rather than tucked away into the sideways slider thingy. We'll still use that slider thing, but not to the same extent that we relied on it before.
I give you: Insani-T-Shirts.com Version 3.
If you were "lucky" enough to have seen Version 2 during its 13 day run, now you can begin your rehabilitation. And if you weren't, well, you're not as l33t, but you'll have an easier time figuring out WTF we have available.

Insani-T-Shirts.com Version 2 Released On Its Own Recognizance
Here it is, the reason we haven't been posting as many new designs, or any blog posts at all for the last six weeks: Insani-T-Shirts.com Version 2. Featuring more graphics and fancy-ass effects than you can shake a stick at. It even works on some browsers!
Designs have been shuffled around a bit, so some of the previous posts on this here blog may not be quite right. Maybe I'll fix them. Maybe I won't. You'll just have to keep tuning in, DAY AFTER DAY, to find out, won't you?! It's all part of my fiendish plan! Bwahahaha!!
More design postage and actual news here more often, effective real soon now.
